Deorro took the phrase “kids at heart” to a whole new level by turning Chuck E. Cheese into the rave venue we never knew we needed.

To celebrate the release of his latest track, “En El Audi,” Deorro brought the house down last week at the iconic home of arcade games and pizza slices. His exclusive “Chuck E. Cheese After Dark” experience took place at the location in Northridge for only 200 people.

The family-friendly event tapped into the early aughts nostalgia with which longtime fans of Deorro grew up. The renowned “Five Hours” producer DJed live from inside a custom Audi car DJ booth, turning the venue into a Latin-infused club dancefloor where attendees could grab a slice of classic Chuck E. Cheese pizza, play retro arcade games and meet the mouse mascot himself.

“En El Audi,” a collaboration with Grupo Marca Registrada, is out now via Interscope/Double P Records. Check out the new single below.

“Do the D.A.N.C.E” never felt more alive than Friday night, when Justice tore up the Hollywood Bowl with a performance for the ages.

Fresh off their brilliant Hyperdrama album, the storied duo transformed the iconic venue into a kinetic, neon-lit cathedral of electronic music. Nearly 18,000 fans were on-hand to witness the biggest standalone US headlining show of their career.

Justice’s Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay are said to have spent months working with “a team of seven computer scientists” to produce their new live show. And the hype was very real, delivering a spectacle that reinforced their standing as pioneers of dance music.

The Bowl overflowed with energy, especially when they interpolated the vocals from Jay-Z’s hip-hop classic “On to the Next One” with “D.A.N.C.E.,” a longtime staple of their sets. The venue also came unglued when they performed the timeless “We Are Your Friends.”

If you thought Elrow’s parties were already a surreal trip, “Hallucinarium” is taking the colorful chaos to a new phase.

Set to make its U.S. debut at Chicago’s Radius on November 29th and 30th before wrapping up Miami’s Art Basel week at Factory Town on December 8th, the beloved event organizer’s latest theme is aiming to once again take attendees well beyond the atmospheric confines of a typical rave. Designed in collaboration with renowned artists Alex and Allyson Grey, “Hallucinarium” promises a multi-sensory odyssey, rooted in the Greys’ world-renowned psychedelic art.

The arrival of Elrow’s latest concept is familiar cause for celebration for fans in Chicago and Miami, where the brand’s presence has grown significantly in recent years. Back in March, they hosted the closing night of Miami Music Week at Factory Town, bringing their signature no-holds-barred production to the open-air venue.

Meanwhile in the Windy City, Elrow maintained their popular annual stage takeover at ARC Music Festival over Labor Day Weekend. Their return to both cities with “Hallucinarium” feels like a natural evolution of their trajectory in the States.

You can purchase tickets here.

Factory Town is one of Miami’s most beloved destinations for sunset-to-sunrise grooves, especially during Art Basel. The outdoor, multi-stage campus completely transforms for its Factory Basel series, which annually features star-studded lineups for multiple days of marathon raves.

As 2024 Art Basel announcements slowing start to arrive, Factory Town has revealed their massive opening and closing parties.

Mayan Warrior will kick things off Thursday, December 5th in the venue’s Infinity Room. This year, the brand is back and stronger than ever after debuting its brand-new, rebuilt art car, Galaxyer. Mayan Warrior’s beloved original art car was a longtime staple of Burning Man before catching fire and tragically burning beyond repair in April 2023.

The revamped Galaxyer stage hosted DJ sets from Carl Cox, Adan Ten, RÜFÜS DU SOL and more at this year’s gathering in Black Rock City. The lineup for the Factory Town Art Basel date has not yet been announced at the time of this writing.

Alongside Mayan Warrior’s appearance at Factory Town are scheduled events featuring GOLFOS and Eastenderz. GOLFOS, the duo of PAWSA and Dennis Cruz, are slated for a special, extended set at the Park Stage for their highly anticipated Factory Town debut.

The venue is known for concluding their multi-day events in spectacular fashion, with stacked lineups taking place on Sunday night into Monday morning. 2024 is no different, with Elrow wrapping up Art Basel weekend at Factory Town’s Park stage. The famed Spanish party brand will flesh out their latest theme, “Hallucinarium,” which presents art by the iconic psychedelic artist, Alex Gray. Elrow’s lineup will be announced in the weeks ahead.

As if that wasn’t enough to keep Miami ravers grooving all night long, Sunday will also include a spellbinding “Adriatique X” performance in the Infinity Room.

Tickets for Factory Basel 2024 events are available here.

As one of the most reliable dance music experiences around, CRSSD Fest once again proved to be a dependable source for fans of electronic music as it closed out its 2024 season.

The biannual San Diego festival returned to Waterfront Park for two days of staggering performances from leading names in the house and techno genres.

Produced by FNGRS CRSSD, the festival has become a San Diego favorite due to its consistent roster of electronic heavy-hitters alongside a laidback atmosphere. Its modest footprint and idyllic seaside setting have required minimal changes to the boutique event, offering guests a dependable backdrop to enjoy the latest in dance music.

At the Palms stage, you could expect to be enveloped by all things house music. Here you could catch a groove to acts like Walker & Royce, Gorgon City, Idris Elba, Biscits and BLOND:ISH.

There aren’t many music festivals that quicken the pulse quite like BOO Seattle.

Insomniac’s Halloween-themed festival annually invites the Pacific Northwest’s electronic music community to rave to the grave, but 2024 has the feel of something entirely different.

A lot of themed festivals crumble under the weight of their own ambition, but with a tenured brand like Insomniac at the helm, attendees can expect a full-blown exorcism of the mundane. And this year, an eerie storyline is propelling BOO Seattle like a haunted hayride gone haywire.

The story follows Darcy, an otherworldly spirit inspired by an urban legend of a girl who once disappeared into the forests around Lake Washington.

“It is said one night she felt called into the moonlight’s embrace, but was led astray somewhere along her journey and vanished into the night,” reads the festival’s website. “Sometime later, she was summoned back to our world by ghost hunters in her shadowy new form—reborn as Seattle’s descendent of the dark. To this day she roams the city at night, seeking the force of light that she lost so many moons ago.”

Frights aside, BOO Seattle, one of EDM.com‘s top Halloween festivals of the year, features a massive lineup in 2024.

The two-day fest will feature performances by Kaskade, Rezz, ILLENIUM, Afrojack, Crankdat, SLANDER, Zomboy and Ray Volpe, among other influential electronic music acts. Other can’t-miss sets will come from surging house artist Odd Mob, bass music virtuoso Hairitage and EDM.com Class of 2024 star Hedex.

The lineup for the 2024 BOO Seattle festival features Kaskade, ILLENIUM, Afrojack and more.

Insomniac Events

These artists will perform across three unearthly stages: Dark Forest, Den of Darkness and The Lighthouse. Attendees can also expect a spate of onsite experiential activations and “paranormal activities,” per Insomniac.

BOO Seattle returns to the WaMu Theater October 25-26, 2024. Tickets to the 18+ festival are on sale now.

In the meantime, check out the festival’s official playlist below.
